Summary

A chance encounter in the dark leads eighteen-year-old Daniel and the girl who stumbles across him to profess their love for each other。 But this love has conditions: they agree it will last only one hour， and it will be only make-believe。

When their hour is up and the girl rushes off like Cinderella， Daniel tries to convince himself that what happened between them seemed perfect only because they were pretending it was。 Moments like that happen only in fairy tales。

One year and one bad relationship later， his disbelief in love-at-first-sight is stripped away the day he meets Six: a girl with a strange name and an even stranger personality。 Unfortunately for Daniel， finding true love doesn't guarantee a happily ever after。。。 it only further threatens it。

I have never felt my age more than after listening to this audio book。 It pains me to know that books like this are out there， influencing young， impressionable， vulnerable minds into thinking it’s not only acceptable but romantic to sleep with someone after meeting them in a random， dark storage closet and talking with them for AN HOUR。 These two seventeen year old kids never see each other’s faces， have zero conversations about whether they are tested regularly （after establishing they both ha I have never felt my age more than after listening to this audio book。 It pains me to know that books like this are out there， influencing young， impressionable， vulnerable minds into thinking it’s not only acceptable but romantic to sleep with someone after meeting them in a random， dark storage closet and talking with them for AN HOUR。 These two seventeen year old kids never see each other’s faces， have zero conversations about whether they are tested regularly （after establishing they both have had multiple partners recently） and somehow find a way to go on with their day post-hookup as if nothing has happened。 Adding even more fuel to the dumpster fire that is this book - it results in a pregnancy and the baby is discussed and dismissed after less than 5 minutes。 Truly the ONLY saving grace keeping this from receiving zero stars is that she made an adoption plan for the child rather than had an abortion。 At least there’s that。 To anyone in the targeted demographic that is thinking of reading this - please don’t。 There are so many other books out there that spotlight healthy relationships。 Know that you are worth so much more than sleeping with someone you’ve barely known for an hour。 Know that you deserve to know （and should want to know） what they look like AND what their name is。 And lastly， if you’re going to do adult-like things， be an adult and have the necessary conversations to have sex safely。 Treat yourself with respect and the act of making love with respect。 Nothing about what was described in this book is romantic or in any way aspirational。 Now get off my lawn and keep the racket down 👵 。。。more

Amei amei amei！！ Daniel e six são muuuito divertidos juntos e eles realmente combinam。 Sobre a Cinderela， eu quase sabia que era ela， era bem óbvio， o que me chateou foi eles não lembrarem quando se beijaram é que mais me surpreendeu foi a reação dela quando descobriu quem ele era。 Mas é a vida né， ações geram consequências mas adorei o desfecho。

WTF I just read！ Damn！ I’m glad I had the patience high enough to read this first before I dive into Finding Perfects！ As much as I want to see the after story of Quinn and Graham， I’m glad I read Six and Daniel’s story first。 I literally shed a tear or two when I came to the part where Six confessed about her pregnancy because in my head everything suddenly fits into the picture like a tetris game！ Damn！ The interconnections this book have with the other books in different settings and characte WTF I just read！ Damn！ I’m glad I had the patience high enough to read this first before I dive into Finding Perfects！ As much as I want to see the after story of Quinn and Graham， I’m glad I read Six and Daniel’s story first。 I literally shed a tear or two when I came to the part where Six confessed about her pregnancy because in my head everything suddenly fits into the picture like a tetris game！ Damn！ The interconnections this book have with the other books in different settings and characters mesmerized me！ I dont know how many times I’ve said this， but I really really live CoHos and her books！ 。。。more
